Once again a record turnout over the weekend made Ludlow Spring Festival a huge success. The slightly uncertain weather on the Saturday didn't seem to stop thousands of people turning up to enjoy the beers, bangers, bread and other attractions which took place for the second year in the grounds of the historic Ludlow Castle, in Shropshire, England.
With at least 140 real ales on draught from small breweries in Wales and the Marches, brought to Ludlow with help of SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers, plus other drinks, seriously good local sausages, proper bread, and more, vistors found a great fun atmosphere! The well-established Marches Transport Festival, a display of classic cars and other vehicles, also took place in and around the Castle on Saturday and Sunday - making a double attraction.
